Education for the football mind

There's a part of the game the pitch can't teach.

“Football is a game you play with your brain.”

Johan Cruyff. His school made Messi and Lamine Yamal.

Half of that school was a classroom.

That education was kept for the chosen few.

We built it for yours.

Nothing like it exists anywhere else.

Test yours

Every game, every lesson, every measurement on this platform is designed, engineered and built by us.

Every player who made it was obsessed. The difference is what the obsession fed on.

Talent is common.

What separates players is what they do on the days nobody is watching.

SoccerMental is twenty minutes a day, every day, of real football that trains what a player sees, how fast they decide, and how calm they stay.

“A great player’s head works like a radar.”

— Arsène Wenger · Arsenal manager, 1996 to 2018

La Masia’s player development programme has treated scanning and game-reading as trainable skills for decades — not natural gifts, but habits that are taught, drilled, and tracked from the first session.

La Masia · FC Barcelona Academy

One session a day.

00 : 00

Then it ends, on purpose.

Twelve minutes of lessons, curated for each player. Six minutes of match to use them. Two to look back. Then it ends.

The 12 · Class

LEARN

One idea, chosen by yesterday's play. The platform watches what each player finds hard and teaches exactly that next. There is no fixed plan to fall behind on. The plan is the player.

The 12 · Drills

DRILL

The idea trained in isolation. Scanning drills timed to the tenth of a second against the habits of elite professionals. Memory and attention drills built on published cognitive science, so every score means something. A different mixture every day.

The 6 · Match Day

MATCH

We built our own game for this. It uses everything the twelve just taught:

  • Real play, their own eyes, one position
  • Scanning
  • Making the calls
  • Penalties, fouls, pressure
  • Practised calm, until it is a habit before it is ever needed under lights

Any phone, tablet or browser. No downloads.

THE MIRROR

Full time. Two or three clipped moments from the player's own match, with the lesson named at the exact second it mattered. One number that grew today. Tomorrow's session, teased by name. Then the doors close until tomorrow.

Today's one number

Tomorrow: "The Bait": how to read a goalkeeper's weight shift

Half-time is real.

Your player is the captain. They read tired faces, feel the momentum, choose one message, and the second half remembers it.

The blank shirt.

Everyone starts nameless, in plain kit. Kits and naming are earned by showing up and doing the work. They can never be bought.

The daily limit holds.

The session ends itself at twenty minutes, every day, at every price. The scarcest thing on this platform is more of it.

The Scanning Drill

40+ real plays.

Real professional match tracking data.

The whistle blows. The world freezes.

Ball at your feet for ten seconds, the window the research measured. Press SCAN and your eyes go up for half a second. One look, one angle.

LUCKY

You scanned. You saw him. You played him before the whistle.

UNLUCKY

The pass was there. You held it. The move closed.

Wenger's radar

Wenger built Arsenal's play around the idea that the ball always moves faster than a man. The players who made his system work scanned before the ball arrived, so the decision was already made when the pass came. His phrase for it: a head that works like a radar.

Research numbers

Research across Europe's top leagues tracked scanning rates in elite performers, players who consistently created and scored. They averaged 6 to 8 pre-receive scans per ten seconds. Each glance under 0.6 seconds. Enough to locate a free man. Not enough to stare at one.

La Masia method

FC Barcelona’s academy employs psychologists and analysts alongside coaches. The programme is built on one principle: cognitive awareness — how a player reads space before the ball arrives — is a skill, and skills are built through structured repetition.

1.5 seconds. 480ms. The real professional numbers. Not a game target.

For Clubs & Academies

Your plays. Your players. Your free men.

The engine runs on any professional tracking data. Feed in your club's match files and your players watch plays from their own stadium, in their own position. Every free man they miss is one of their own teammates. The game is already built.

still counting…

We built the work.

We certify it.

The Preseason: seven shirts, one for each day. Day one is lit. The rest are earned.
1

Day 1: the baseline.

The player just plays. The platform quietly measures where they start. Nothing is shown yet.

7

Day 7: the Preseason Test.

One week of study, then a real test. Passing it certifies the player to use every wing of the platform. Everyone on Earth sits the same one.

Every day after: the spine.

Each session deposits into the record: what was studied, what was demonstrated, what grew. Earned, unfakeable, and portable.

For parents: the certificate.

On day 6 of the free week you receive a certificate of what your child studied and demonstrated. Not points scored. Attention paid. It goes on the fridge.

We are deliberately careful about what this record claims. It certifies study and demonstrated understanding. It never grades talent and it never predicts ability.

Who are you here for?

The league. Yours, not ours.

You found it. You name it. You decide who is in.

Three team mates in the changing room around one phone
  • We hand you the table, the fixtures and the invite link. The rest belongs to you and your friends.
  • Two to five friends, one room, every player in their own position. Beat the computer together.
  • Voice chat with your league mates only. Never strangers.
  • Train all week. Talk on the Wall. Then Sunday comes.
  • The league is free.
